Ngaa Poo Oo Rangi TWWA Ko Au Mahere Pae TE WHARE KO AU TE KAUWAE RUNGA TE KAUWAE RARO WHARE WAANANGA TAONGA TUKU IHO IHI O MANA NOHANGA TE TAURITERITE  TE WAITOHU POO PUURAAKAU WHAKAPAPA Ngaa Poo Oo Rangi 1. These are the Poo which Te Whanau a Rangi dwelt within their parents embrace. In the seventh Poo the Gods desired to search for the way of the female in order to go forth from their parents embrace. a) Te Poo Kauru -the age of ancient darkness b) Te Poo Uriuri -the age of deep black darkness c) Te Poo Kakarauri -the age of extreme darkness d) Te Poo Kerekere -the age of darkness e) Te Poo Tiwhatiwha -the age of gloom f) Te Poo Tamaku -the age smoothed off g) Te Poo Aoaonui -the age of great dawn- 2. Ngaa Poo of Tuanuku and Ranginui, in the period called Wetuki, Whekoki, Maruaitu; when these are assigned to the stem of Mahutonga of Paraweranui and to Tahumakanui to the east and north east; these are known as Paepae te Irihia, Te Kakea, Oi Nuku, Oi Roa; and then ends the Poo of that branch. 3. These Poo were assigned to Poutererangi to sweep away the misfortunes of the long standing world down to Rarohenga and where Te Kauwatawata and his companions are stationed: i) Te Poo Aoaonui ii) Te Poo Tamaku iii) Te Poo Tiwhatiwha. iv) Te Poo Kerekere v) Te Poo Kakarauri vi) Te Poo Uriuri vii) Te Poo Kauru.
