pp.2-3 A fundraising meeting at Kaipara in the year 1858
Reports a meeting of Maori leaders from the Kaipara region to discuss financial support for the local minister. Records speeches in support from Paikea, Wiremu Tīpene, Matiu Te Hau, Te Paki Rore, Matikikuha, and William Marsh [Wiremu Maihi] Te Rangikāheke. Notes a sum of money was collected.
